Eric Furgason
It was way too nice out yesterday to be sitting indoors chained to a computer editing. So I called up Eric and went and shot some photos of him biking for fun.
Jim
After shooting some standard shots for a “My Style” fashion segment, Jim told me he could float in mid air!! So I had to capture this frame:

I always think about this photo.
I was talking with a friend online today, and was trying to explain this photo I shot in Hawaii a few years ago, and how it really stands out in my memory.
Too Legit To Quit.
Its official, I have excluded myself from the “pro”-tography crowd that keeps growing and hustling our city. Keeping it Legit.
10 years in 34 seconds.
This is a quick time lapse of my grandparents first photo album. The photo album starts in April 1957 with my grandparents going to their high school prom together. The album ends 10 years later in April 1967 with their first home, and two kids!
Photos from ArtsBridge Publication
I was unable to blog any of these photos until the ArtsBridge publication was out. Here are some of the photos I wanted to share.

Grandma Harding.

I remember visiting my grandma Harding quite often when I was younger. We would frequently help out at grandma and grandpa’s store on main street Taber. Grandma ran a flower shop on one side, and grandpa ran a sporting goods store on the other side. Their store was a kids treasure hunting paradise! You could find all sorts of things in the back of their store, antique toys, planes, scuba gear, old trophies, 50′s radios, you name it. It was more like discovering cool stuff in an attic of someones house then a store to me. Just blow the dust off, and it was something new to play with.
Growing up, I would still visiting grandma’s store. Instead of rummaging around in grandpa’s stuff and searching for treasure, I would help my grandma on the flower side, and ask for a few left over flowers to give to pretty girls. As long as I helped cut, and design, she would always let me take some back to Lethbridge.
Older we get, the less we seem to spend with our relatives. Its been quite some time since I’ve gone out to visit, and help out the grand folks.
My grandma just turned 75, and has been diagnosed with advanced stages of cancer through her lungs and bowels. Thanksgiving weekend, family from Calgary, Lethbridge, and Idaho came to visit. As her birthday present, we all pitched in to clean her house. It was good to have everyone together, finding treasures again in their home, old photos, radios, books and keep sakes from over the years. Just wish I was able to record all the stories I haven’t heard.
