Priscilla
Finally went out and tested the TS 24mm Lens, SO hard to get the focus, reminds me of using my old pentax ME Super. Definately gave me an appreciation for auto focus. Here’s one of the frames.

Photoshoot with Boarderline
Met up with Peter from Boarderline yesturday to do a shoot for one of the guys on his team, Ryan Spate. We hit a rail on the north side first, that left Ryan with some mean bails and blood, then a set of stairs closer to the skatepark. Here’s a few of the shots.

More Tattoo’s
More friends with tattoo’s! Here’s a shot of Eric and Kristens roommate Priscilla. Love tree tattoo’s! Thanks to Rob Olson for helping out with the shoot and lighting!

Kristin and Eric
I got a few friends to come in and pose for me last night at the studio. Just playing around. Took a serious shot, and decided that was completely not who they are… so the second shot is Kristin trying to put Eric in a headlock.

Eric has some incredible ink, here’s a shot of part of his back piece. The lower half isn’t quite finished yet, so we left it out of frame.

Cape Breton Coast

Shot with a neutral density -8 filter. It was overcast, around noon, and I was able to get a 10 second exposure!
Flights
I’ve found myself on a lot of flights in the last few years. I figured it was about time I went and said hello to the people that fly these things.

Midnight in Ingonish

Midnight. The rain finally stops pounding for the first time during my stay in Ingonish. I grab my camera and a plastic bag. Wake Sabrina, and head down to the ocean to catch the huge waves hitting the coast. The rain has stopped but there is so much mist in the air, it might as well have been raining. Regardless the mist created some interesting light for this shot! – Thanks to Sabrina for getting up, helping me cover my camera from the mist, and posing for this shot
Travels through Nova Scotia
If anyone has been checking into my blog, and noticed I haven’t been around for two weeks, its because I just returned from a two week trip out east to Nova Scotia! I traveled out east with my girlfriend Sabrina and her family to visit their relatives in Halifax and Ingonish. We endured some long drives, and some rainy weather, but the trip was an absolute blast! I am excited to now be able to say I’ve seen a good chunk of my own country. I’m sure I will be making several blog posts with images from this trip, but here are the first few that I edited on the flight home.
